This course helps instructors refine their cornering, technical climbing, technical descending in natural terrain. Steeps, roots and rocks will be a main component of the TECH course. Trail manoeuvres such as bunny-hops, wheelies, manuals, stoppies and nose pivots will allow trainees to adapt to a vast variety of trail situations.

The PMBIA Level 2 AIR Specialized Instructor certification trains instructors to teach intermediate to advanced students in technical and flow-based bike park terrain. The course focuses on refining skills in cornering, descending, steeps, rock rolls, pumping, and maneuver-based techniques for introducing small to medium tabletop jumps and drops.

The PMBIA Level 2 TECH Specialized Instructor certification trains instructors to teach intermediate to advanced students in technical riding in both uphill and downhill settings. The PMBIA four-tier system offers extensive opportunities for professional development. Becoming a Level 3 instructor establishes you as a high-performance coach.
To ensure a well-rounded skill set, an instructor wishing to achieve Level III status is encouraged to complete the full Level II pathway, in both AIR and TECH. A trainee must show a high level of mastery, scoring at least “Autonomous” (4 out of 5) in all aspects of riding and coaching, as well as serving as a model and mentor to other Level II trainees.
Completing the Kids Module is the final step, equipping Level 3 instructors with all the necessary tools to excel as high-performance coaches.
The Level 4 course is a five-day intensive program designed for master coaches aiming to achieve the highest industry standard, providing advanced training in all the different situations a coach can face, requiring advanced knowledge, riding and coaching styles.
