Bikeskills offers a niche product for the development of the next generation of shredders.  Young riders aged 11 to 15 years old will have the opportunity to spend three riding days with our expert coaches.  They will learn and they will progress, you have our guarantee!<\/p>\n<p>Our youth development program is a program running on three consecutive Sundays from 9am to 2pm.  It is our experience that a camp running for too long will tire the riders and diminish quality of training. A progression of technical skills will be taught, allowing you to reach another level of trail riding. Moreover, you will learn in a motivating and inspiring environment, with other riders of your level.<\/p>\n<p><p>\n<strong>Lesson format :<\/strong> Groups of six participants of the same level are formed to meet the specific needs of each person. A specific theme will determine the sessions in order to cover a maximum of skills while respecting the group&#8217;s progression.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Coach:<\/strong> Your coach will be certified level I or II pmbia.org and will have 20h or 40h of remote area first aid training.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Terrain:<\/strong> Varies according to the level of the participants.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a tabindex=\"0\">These mountain bike sessions are recommended if&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong><center>Please refer to the skill level needed for the level of the session (beginner, intermediate, strong intermediate or advanced)<\/strong><\/center><\/h4>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You enjoy a group formula, feeding on the energy of others<\/li>\n<li>You want to experience mountain biking with a group of like minded riders<\/li>\n<li>You have a willingness to progress yourself in a safe environment<\/li>\n<li>You have good physical fitness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nYou answered <b>YES<\/b> to all these questions? <b>These sessions are for you.<\/b>  If you are unsure and have any questions, please contact us!<br \/>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/bikeskills.ca\/fr\/cliniques\/\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSkill level and clinic description<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a tabindex=\"0\">Bikeskills policies<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 participants per clinic.\n<li>Bikeskills reserves the right to reschedule a clinic if the minimum participants is not reached\n<li>No refunds, except for major exceptions, at Bikeskills&#8217;s discretion\n<li>Bikeskills clinics and events are not cancelled in case of rain.\n<li>An event may be rescheduled if the site is closed.\n<li>Bikeskills is not responsible for the shutdown or closure of a lift or gondola. An alternative will be offered to the client, which may require pedalling towards a trail.\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a tabindex=\"0\">What to bring ?<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knee protectors mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Long gloves and elbow protection recommended<\/li>\n<li>Mountain bike helmet<\/li>\n<li>Sportswear adapted to the weather conditions<\/li>\n<li>Flat-soled shoes (Vans type) or mountain bike shoes<\/li>\n<li>Flat pedals with metal cleats or automatic pedals (clip on) for mountain bikes<\/li>\n<li>Hydration (bike bottle) and nutrition (bars)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a tabindex=\"0\">Planing your day<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\tTo protect yourself from minor scrapes and injuries, Bikeskills recommends that you ALWAYS wear knee protection.  Gloves, eyewear \/ goggles and elbow protection are also recommended, but not mandatory. Of course, a helmet is always essential, ideally a mountain bike specific helmet.  A full-face helmet and chest protector for advanced and\/or lift courses is also recommended, but not mandatory.<\/p>\n<p><p>\nAs the class will be held outdoors and we might not have access to indoor facilities, it is recommended that you check the mountain weather forecast and plan accordingly, as weather can change rapidly. It is recommended that each member of the group bring snacks and water to ensure they have enough energy to enjoy the class.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a tabindex=\"0\">Cautionary note to participants<\/a><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\tAs we want to prepare you in advance for a great experience, here are some notes on safe mountain biking<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate your apprehensions, previous injuries and physical limitations to your coach.<\/li>\n<li>Do not exceed your physical and technical limits.<\/li>\n<li>All difficulties and modules are optional at all times.
